This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement. This notice is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE (RFP/RFQ) nor does it restrict the government as to ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. The Naval Air Systems Command, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of Industry to participate in a competitive acquisition for portable restroom trailers as specified in the attached statement of work. The Government is performing market research in order to determine if any businesses possess the capability to execute the requirements within this notice. Respondents need to indicate all small business designations. Interested business firms who meet the capability requirements identified in this notice are requested to reply to this notice with a response. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Interested contractors are to submit the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address; DUNS, CAGE code and information regarding your company's ability to provide the requirement described in the attached product specifications document. ( If a spec sheet or SOW is provided) This requirement is in need of expedited shipping due to the urgent need following the 2019 earthquakes in this region. Interested firms should submit a document which furnishes information describing relevant demonstrated experience and qualifications in the following format: the submissions should not exceed five (5) one-sided, 8" X 11" pages in Microsoft word or PDF format to the contact specialist via email to: your.name@navy.mil. Submissions must be received via email no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on (closing date) Personal visits for the purpose of discussing this announcement will not be scheduled. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. Effective June 11, 2018, entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov to apply only for federal assistance opportunities such as grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration. Additionally, Effective June 29, 2018, all non-Federal entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
