The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for Fifty pounds (50 lbs) of Class-3 CL-20 Chemical in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to Northrup Grumman, PO BOX 707, Brigham City, UT due to CL-20 is a specifc chemical with unique physical and chemical properties. To maintain testing consistency we must stay with the same chemical properties. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893619Q0229 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
