The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for Qty 25 EA; VN-200Rugged GPS/INS in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to VectorNav Technologies LLC, 10501 Markison Road, Dallas, TX 75238 due to Hardware and software of the remote control system is built to specifically work with form factor and characteristics of the VN-200T-CR. This will be a replacement for the existing units. Any other unit would require proof of concept, redesign hardware and interface software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893619Q0171 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
