The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the quanitity1 EA; Bruker X-RAY Machine Upgrade in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to BRUKER AXS INC, 5465 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, WI 53711-5373 due to replacement/upgrade component for our existing X-Ray single crystal diffractomenter manufactured by Bruker. No other manufacturer can supply this component or provide service to support it and the existing components once it is installed. The component must be compatible with our exiting hardware and software control system. This notice is not intent for a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893619Q0148 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
