The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task order under General Services Administration (GSA) Contract GS-07F-272AA to Giga-tronics Incorporated, Dublin, CA, for the procurement of two GT-ASG-TEMS-103 2-channel Multi-ship Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) Radar Signal Generators (MTRSG) and associated engineering services in support of Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Product Team (IPT) located at the NAWCWD, Point Mugu, CA. The task order N6893619F0186 was awarded in the amount of $4,040,328.10 for the delivery of two TDOA MTRSG and engineering maintenance services for a period of two years. This acquisition was conducted on a sole source basis using FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(i) "supplies or services may be considered to be available from only one source." The acquisition was awarded through GSA based on FAR Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
