The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for engineering support to augment the efforts of the NavMPS and TACAIR IPT Government personnel, located at NAWCWD Point Mugu, CA. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Interested parties are requested to submit information that demonstrates they are capable of providing the required efforts in accordance with the draft Statement of Work (SOW) and section L sample tasking that are electronically attached to this synopsis. If a contract is awarded for this effort, the Government anticipates a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Level of Effort (CPFF LOE) contract. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts. This Sources Sought Synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
