The U.S. Government desires to procure a new gas powered utility vehicle. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 336999, All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing. Description of Requirement: One six passenger, gas powered utility vehicle meeting the following specifications. Vendor will include a minimum 1 year warranty on parts. Item Description: Plastic Body Steel Frame Windshield Windshield Wipers x 2 Side and Rear View Mirrors Heater Four wheel drive capable. Six passenger capability with seat belts. Full cab enclosure. 4 Stroke, 2 cylinder, OHV, liquid cooled. Minimum of 615cc displacement to 1000cc maximum displacement Continuously Variable Transmission with high and low range, forward, reverse and neutral, All Wheel Drive. Minimum size of 23 x 11-10 tubeless front and rear tires. Four wheel hydraulic front and rear brakes. Headlights, tail and brake lights. Maximum Weight Capacity; to include weight of passengers, cargo, and accessories to be no less than 1500 pounds. Towing capacity equal to, but not less than 2,500 pounds Be advised that responses to this sources sought synopsis are limited to five (5) pages- not including the cover sheet. The Government will not review general capability statements, please ensure submissions are specific to this requirement and information requested. Vendors are encouraged to provide concise responses to the capability questions/statements below. Vendor responses shall be submitted in a searchable PDF Format. All interested parties shall provide their capability statement no later than May 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM (EST) to Ms. Jamie Mills at Jamie.l.mills20.civ@us.navy.mil Capability Questions/Statements: 1. The name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.), the corresponding NAICS code, and any applicable GSA Contract Number. 2. Identify whether your firm is registered in the Systems for Award Management website (www.sam.gov). Yes or No. 3. Provide information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. Responses shall be limited to five (5) pages, not including the cover sheet.
