The US Fleet Forces Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative was conducted for the EOD enlisted rating to determine areas where the accession pipeline required modernization or modification to gain efficiencies. This process identified the need to add an EOD Combat Skills Course following the completion of US Navy EOD Underwater COI. A form of this training is presently being provided through a series of courses conducted at numerous locations. CEODD intends to replace multiple courses with a single course (Combat Skills).
