NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about 13 March 2023. The solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted for Full and Open Competition. The period of performance will be between 31 March 2023 and 30 September 2023. The PSC Code is J034. The NAICS Code is 811310, with a size standard of $12.5 Million. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide services to repair one (1) Lymco 4 inch CNC horizontal boring mill, Model HM110R2, Serial number 10604 in support of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), located in Kings Bay, Georgia. The Lymco 4 inch CNC horizontal boring mill is used by TRF shop 31A to manufacture parts needed to support the repair of the Navys Trident Submarines. It is vital that this equipment functions properly so that the required parts can be produced to specification in a timely manner, allowing submarines repairs to remain on schedule. The solicitation will be available on or about 13 March 2023 for download on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website at https://www.neco.navy.mil and SAM.gov Website at: https://www.sam.gov. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of price quotes, the statement of work, and evaluation criteria. It is the responsibility of interested parties to register with NECO and or SAM to download the synopsis, solicitation and subsequent amendments and all attachments. Offerors are encouraged to review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of the RFQ, attachments or amendments will be provided. No solicitation mailing list will be issued. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of potential sources for an anticipated requirement to repair the Lymco 4 inch CNC horizontal boring mill. Model HM110R2, Serial # 10604 in support of Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA. Additional detailed information is provided on the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). As part of its market research, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is issuing this Sources Sought notice to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of fulfilling this requirement as further described in the Draft SOW. The Government may use the responses to this notice for information and planning purposes. The Draft SOW describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final SOW included in any Request for Quotations (RFQ). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The anticipated Period of Performance is 31 March 2023- 30 September 2023. Offerors possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this source sought notice via the submission of an executive summary, no more than five (5) pages in length. Responses must use twelve point Times New Roman font. In your response provide a brief description of the capability, resources, technical competencies and organizational experience relative to the key task areas. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Draft SOW will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. The submission should include the following information: 1) company name, address, and point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address; 2) Unique Identifier Number, business size and classification; and 3) relevant corporate experience information. Relevant corporate experience information is defined as experience (within the past five years) that is of the same or similar services to that which is described herein and a technical description of ability to meet the requirement (2 references). The corporate experience should include the applicable contract number, contract period of performance, a brief description of the services provided, and the relevancy of the services to the proposed requirement. This Sources Sought notice is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NAVSUP FLCJ’s market research. No RFQ exists, therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
