The antenna tower located on Truman Annex in Key West, Florida requires reinforcements to accommodate the mounting of additional antennas on the tower. To meet the ANSI/TIA-222-H standard with a basic wind speed of 200 mph without ice under risk category III, exposure category C, and topographic category 1 with the proposed loading structural modifications are required. Recommended solution is to install additional stitch bolts with spacers to the back to back main diagonals in the bay from the 20 ft. to 40 ft. elevation. Vendor is responsible for the engineering, material, mobilization and installation of strengthening measures for the antenna tower at Truman Annex, Key West, Florida. All material must be new and all equipment must be properly installed and come with a minimum one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty. All costs must be reflected on the quote to include (but not limited to) material price, delivery, warranty, software, installation and mobilization. All work and materials will comply with current Federal, State and County codes governing tower work. Submissions will include a Fall Prevention and Safety Plan, Workman’s Compensation and Insurance Documentation. Please refer to the Peformance Work Statment (PWS) for more information involving the needs of the requirement. Also make sure to refer to the solicitation and addendum 52.212-1 for requirements of submission.
