The solicitation will be issued as a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Trident Refit Facility (TRF), located in Kings Bay, Georgia, with a supply contract for Electrical Cables for the Temporary Services Department. This includes a TG1S04C-FT 1/0 4C Type G Round Power Cable in the amount of 1,000 feet and a TG3S04C-FT 3/0 4C Type G Round Power Cable in the amount of 700 feet. Both cables must be continuous in length. Cables are used onboard US submarines and topside for direct support of temporary services. Additional information regarding the salient characteristics of the electrical cables will be available in the description of requirements (DOR) as outlined in the solicitation. The required supplies are needed by 30 September 2022 or 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). The PSC Code is 6145. The NAICS Code is 335931, with a size standard of 500 employees. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of price quotes, the performance work statement, and evaluation criteria. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this SS Notice to determine the availability of potential sources for two (2) Type G Round Power Cables at the Trident Refit Facility (TRF) in Kings Bay, Georgia. As a part of its market research, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is issuing this notice to determine the availability of contractors capable of fulfilling the government’s requirements. The Government may use the responses to this notice for information and planning purposes. The notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation to bid.
