The Naval Supply NAVSUP Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center FLC, Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Subpart 13.3 to BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc., A T and T for local exchange access, carrier commercial network service, path interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network PSTN to support simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services. Trunking service shall terminate on the Navys Lucent SESS telephone switching platforms at the following locations Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Hospital Jacksonville. In addition, trunking service shall terminate on the Navys Avaya S8500 telephone switching platforms at Cecil Commerce Center, 6206 Aviation Avenue, Jacksonville. Contractor shall provide complete, reliable and operational services which include plans and goals, engineering, implementation, testing, maintenance, escalation and trouble reporting and monthly customer billing. Due to a transition from current TDM based service to IP technology, this requirement has a period of performance from 01 October 2023 through 30 September 2024 to provide coverage during the transition period. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code NAICS code that this work falls under is 517111 Wired Telecommunication Carriers, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within one 1 calendar day after publication of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
