This is a Sources Sought Notice (SS) for market research purposes only. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Governments specifications shown in the attached Description of Requirements (DOR). NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potential qualified Small Business concerns capable of providing Vertical / Horizontal Milling Machines for Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Kings Bay, Georgia. The customer is seeking to purchase two (2) Model VH-250VS-SP milling machines, or equivalent. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Any offers submitted shall include a completed copy of the customer’s Compliance Document to ensure all requirements are met. Please see attached draft Description of Requirements(DOR). It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 3417 and NAICS Code 333517 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall not exceed three (3) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no larger than 12 point. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation at this time In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Point of Contact (POC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made.
