Synopsis The Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit for a total forty (40) diving harnesses, (15 - SSH Harness - Part number 769158 and 25 - SSH Harness - Part Number 769161), manufactured by Aqua Lung dba US Divers CO INC. The Procurement of these new harnesses are only available from the OEM at this time. These are “direct replacements” parts/components for existing equipment and will be procured under IAW Diving advisory 21-02. Aqualung will not provide a discount credit to authorized retailers; therefore, the discount program will only be authorized between the military end users and Aqualung. Additionally, the harnesses that meet the updated standards must have a manufacture date of no older than 1 July 2021 due to changes in their harness and approved by NAVSEA thus preventing safety concerns with previous batches of harnesses and must be sole source. Assigned PSC Code: 4220; NAICS Code: 334511. Any qualified vendors for this requirement must be an authorized distributor of Aqua Lung dba US Divers CO INC and able to provide evidence that OEM is willing to extend the offered safety exchange credit from AQUA LUNG. All below listed are the required supplies. The government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract for supplies, using the Simplified Acquisition procedures of FAR part 13, with an anticipated award date of 13 August 2021.
