Sources Sought Fortus 3D Printer Maintenance Service FOR 400MC, 450MC and 900MC printers Located FRCSE Jacksonville Florida This sources sought is for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal , Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to survey prospective vendors in order to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing the maintenance service required for Emerald 400MC, 450MC and 900MC 3D printers. The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items to Stratasys Inc. for the procurement of a maintenance service agreement that includes technical phone support, preventive schedule maintenance, on-site support, hardware updates, and software updates on the Fortus 400MC S/N T2962, Fortus 450MC S/N K10375 and Fortus 900MC S/N L1101 for Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRSCE). Stratasys Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The three aforementioned Government 3D printers are considered big box machines for which Stratasys is sole source service provider. The required service is for a 12 month base and four one-year options on the 900MC and 450 MC printers, and a 12 month Base and two one-year options for the 400MC printer. The base period of performance will be from 30 September 2021 to 29 September 2022. The Government anticipates award of a single firm-fixed price service contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811310. The Federal Supply Code (FSC)/ Product Service Code (PSC) is J036. This acquisition will be made under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This notice of intent is for information purposes only. It is the Government’s intent to make a sole source award to Stratasys Inc. for this Acquisition which will be under Solicitation N6883621Q0224. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within six (6) calendar days after publication of this notice to demonstrate comparable capability, and that is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this service through a soles-source acquisition award will be made.
