The Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet, Logistics Center Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit a requirement for Blast Booth Ramp Manufacturing and Installation Services for the Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA. This requirement will be a competitive small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 332313 Plate Work Manufacturing, for which the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for a 2 month period of performance to manufacture and install the ramp. Solicitation will be posted to NECO on 9 June 2020. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price service type contract. The solicitation will be posted under solicitation number N6883620Q0162. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO or Contract Opportunities web site. This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to determine the availability of potential sources for Entrance Ramp Commercial Manufacturing Services for Trident Refit Facility (TRF). A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Additional detailed information is provided on the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). As part of its market research, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is issuing this SSN to determine the availability of contractors capable of fulfilling the Government’s requirements. The Government may use the responses to this SSN for information and planning purposes. The material description describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of supplies and may vary from the work scope in a final PWS included in any Request for Quotes (RFQ). NAVSUP FLCJ is seeking vendors capable of providing manufacturing services meeting the specifications of the PWS. Offerors possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this SSN via the submission of a capability statement and details of the items offered. Please restrict all responses to non-proprietary information.
