The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to CGTECH for VERICUT software and maintenance support for Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE). CGTECH is the only source that can provide this requirement because they have sole ownership of VERICUT software, which is supported by a letter provided by the company. All service and support for VERICUT is provided by CGTECH’s corporate offices and regional remote sites within the United States. FRCSE has been using VERICUT software for years to simulate a production equipment environment to the machine parts on a computer before a program is released to the machine shop. FRCSE has a significant investment in this software and training for its user base. VERICUT software products and maintenance are required in order to keep FRCSE functioning correctly in their ever changing computing environment. Utilizing software other than VERICUT could result in a work stoppage due to Information Assurance (IA) non-compliance. VERICUT software has proven capability with existing FRCSE systems. Additionally, current projects would be without software maintenance support. The required VERICUT software shall be delivered to FRCSE five (5) days after contract award, and the period of performance for maintenance support will be for one (1) year. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 511210- Software Publishers, with a size standard of $38.5 million. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company’s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within four (4) calendar days after publication of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
