The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville (FLCJ) has an emerging requirement for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (FF and V) for USNS COMFORT while in the area of Central America. Full details of the requirement and location of delivery are listed in the Statement of Work (SOW) which will be included as part of the solicitation. The requirement will be solicited as Full and Open Competition (F and OC) and a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The Required Delivery Date (RDD) is 09 August 2019 (+/-48 hrs.). The contractor shall provide timely delivery of all goods and services as required in solicitation. The quality of all items received shall conform at least to commercial standards in the relevant profession, trade, or field of endeavor. All work shall be performed by individuals fully qualified and licensed in their relevant field. Written requests may be emailed to the POCs listed below. Make sure to include all FLCJ team members below on all e-mails. If you have not had a previous contract with us, provide a copy of your company’s capability statement, CAGE Code and DUNS. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/ amendments will be mailed or FAXed. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 July 2019 and contract award is anticipated no later than 05 August 2019.
