NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR KEYPADS and RECEIVERS Product Service Code (PSC) 7035 – Electronic and Communication Equipment This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center in Jacksonville (NAVSUP FLCJ) intends to issue sole source RFQ N68836-18-Q-0089 to Coley and Associates, Inc. for the United States Navy to procure Turning Technologies Radio Frequency Keypads and Recievers. The award for this requirement is anticipated to be on or about 18 May 2019. This requirement will result in a sole source award with Coley and Associates, Inc., Cage Code 1UU13, located at 140 Heimer Ste 400, San Antonion, TX 78232 under NAICS Code 334310, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. ACQUISITION APPROACH: This action will be awarded the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program (Title 41 U.S.C. 153 (3) and Title 40 U.S.C. 501, Services for Executive Agencies). Authority to limit sources to less than those required by FAR 8.405-1 and 8.405-2 is found at FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Turning Technologies is the only company capable of providing these products due to patents, licenses, and copyrights held by Turning Technologies. Coley and Associates, Inc. is the only authorized distributor of Turning Technologies that holds a GSA contract. ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: The value for this effort is estimated at approximately $582K. RESPONSES REQUESTED: This notice is provided to verify that no other sources can meet this requirement. This notification is provided for contractors interested in teaming/subcontracting opportunities. Required delivery date is 30 days after award. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334310, with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
