The Navy Supply System Command Fleet Logistic Center Jacksonville is seeking potential sources with the ability to provide transportation, treatment and disposal of wastewater (petroleum contact water). The potential sources shall have the ability to transportation, treatment and disposal of non-hazardous wastewater and non-hazardous oily wastewater (including sheen and residual diesel fuel and jet fuel). Wastewater is from the bottoms of petroleum storage tanks and exhibits high Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) characteristics due to the diethylene glycol monomethyl ether (DiEGME) that is present in the wastewater. Customer’s wastewater will be delivered to an appropriate treatment facility, via tank trucks. Please review the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further explanation.
