This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued as part of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 on behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), Patuxent River, MD. This procurement is for the upgrade electrical, software, and control systems as well as some ancillary subsystems associated with one Nose Gearbox (NGB) for the H-53E Aircraft, located in Building 4497, Fleet Readiness Center East (FRC East), MCAS Cherry Point, NC. Contractor shall provide a “turnkey” system that, upon delivery to the Government, is capable of successfully producing H-53 Left and Right Nose Gearboxes per Government technical documents. COMFRC intends to competitively solicit offers for the required NGB test stand and is seeking responses to this RFI to determine if at least two companies are capable of performing the requirement. A previous RFI was issued to Equipment Procurement and Sustainment (EPaS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) IDIQ contractors to identify competitive interest within Functional Area 12 of the EPaS MAC holders to identify competitive interest and capability beyond EPaS MAC.
