The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), on the behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), intends to issue a firm fixed price (FFP) FAR Part 13 commercial service contract for Vacuum Sensor Maintenance & Calibration, PSC: J044, NAICS: 811310, on a sole source basis with VACUUM TECHNOLOGY OF TENNESSEE INC. Services include labor, supervision, tools, equipment, supplies, and any other necessary items required to perform calibration on all four (4) sensor set of five (5) calibrated items used on the Ipsen vacuum furnace (P/A: 65886066592) at FRCSE, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida, 32212, in Building 797. The contractor shall be an approved source by the Naval Air Systems Command Metrology Calibration (NAVAIR METCAL) program The ordering period for this contract will be for five years with anticipated start date on 28 September 2023. The place of performance will be in Oak Ridge, TN. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis, to Vacuum Technology of Tennessee Inc., 1003 Alvin Weingberg Dr.,Oak Ridge, TN 37830-8017, per 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.”, as implemented by FAR 6.302?1.
