Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) has the following requirements for Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE): To procure the installation and maintenance of 4 strands of single mode dark fiber, 9/125 micron, SC type connections for 115 Shackleford Court, Havelock NC, 28532 to commercial point of presence (POP) location. The requested dark fiber is required to connect the existing Avaya telephone switch installed at Lease 2.0 (115 Shackleford Court) and connect to Station G6 Building 4397. Station/FRCE personnel will set up connectivity from building 4397 to the telephone switch in BLDG 137. The installation and maintenance services and support include but are not limited to the following: support for phone services, maintenance shall include repair services if there are any issues with the fiber, and a mean-time-to-repair of 4 hours or less from the time an issue is reported. The contractor shall provide a base period of performance of twelve (12) months, with an additional four (4) option years of maintenance services and support. To procure maintenance for four (4) strands of single mode dark fiber, 9/125 micron, SC type connections to Westbrook Office, 500 and 500A Highway 70 W, Havelock, NC 28532 locations. The requested dark fiber is required to continue service connection for four (4) strands of single mode dark fiber tied between Westbrooke Office and Bldg., 137 Mezzanine B. The maintenance services and support to include but not limited to the following: support for phone services, maintenance shall include repair services if there are any issues with the fiber, and a mean-time-to-repair of 4 hours or less from the time an issue is reported. The contractor shall provide a base period of performance of twelve (12) months, with an additional four (4) option years of maintenance services and support. Interested parties shall respond by 4:00 pm on 10 February 2023. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing, must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror’s bona fide capability to provide these items, and sent to joanna.l.schwab.civ@us.navy.mil. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
