This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-l(a)(2)(iii). The Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) at Patuxent River, MD, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract type for software licenses to the existing Atlassian in order to ensure compliance with DOD STIGS. This requirement is for procurement of Atlassian (Bitbucket, Confluence and Jira) software brand licenses, and related add-ons / plug-ins, including common access card (CAC) items. The software is needed to collaborate, maintain documentation, and share/disseminate information in one central location, among Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) information technology development teams and interested stakeholders/users. This Sources Sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not commit the Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
