This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a full and open competition contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.102(a). The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) at Jacksonville, FL, intends to solicit and award a full and open competition Firm Fixed Price contract type for providing and installing modular workstations, freestanding desks, storage units, tables, and chairs in one first floor room. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract providers delivering the required items herein. Such contract providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide all skilled personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform this prescribed project as defined in the Description of Requirement to meet the requirements, except for those items specified as Government equipment furnished and services. This Sources Sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not commit the Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
