Otherwise, this market research tool is being used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation. The Department of the Navy Command Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) located at Patuxent River, MD intends to procure inspection and overhaul repairs to Thomas Instructions Speed Increaser (Part No.: 9459M17G04). The contractor shall provide proof that it has all required Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) technical data to repair the items without modification to the existing components. Anticipated Period of Performance (PoP): The anticipated period of performance is a 90 days after receipt of order. Estimated Quantities/Level of Effort (LOE): Items Speed Increaser (Part No.: 9459M17G04) overhaul repair - 2 (2021) Speed Increaser (Part No.: 9459M17G04) T&E - 3 (2021) Current Contract/Incumbent Information: N68335-17-P-0432/Thomas Instruments Incorporated, 3440 First Street, Brookshire, TX 77423. Capability Statement Requested: Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement must be electronically submitted in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF) via email to Brandi Firestien, at brandi.firestien@navy.mil. The deadline for capability statement submission is 20 May 2021 at 5:00 pm EST. It is requested that interested, capable, and qualified vendors submit a capability statement (no more than 5 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum). The statement must address, at a minimum: 1. Confirmation that your company has all the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) technical data required perform the inspections, repairs and maintain configuration control of the item. 2. Briefly identify your company’s experience in performing work of similar size and scope. 3. If your company intends to team with a qualified subcontractor, please provide an explanation of your company’s ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought.
