The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a competitive basis for COMFRC Headquarters Building Awning listed under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. ***Basis for Award*** Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your quote must contain enough technical information i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc. for evaluation. Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided. The award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Total Amount: ______________________ COMFRC Headquarters Building Awning Statement of Work COMFRC has a requirement for the fabrication and installation of a convex style, welded frame, fabric covered awning spanning from the top of the entrance steps to the edge of the asphalt parking lot in front of the COMFRC Headquarters building (see picture in the attachment). *note- ramp in picture is temporary and will be removed prior to awning installation* Dimensions are approximately 30 feet long, 12 feet wide and 10 feet high. There are five steps up to the landing. Awning height will be consistent over the steps and sidewalk. Installation shall comply with Maryland State local building code. Awning will be covered with Navy blue fabric and have the COMFRC logo on the end facing the parking lot. Logo to be provided after contract award.
