This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared In Accordance With (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items”, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested. The purpose of this requirement is to provide 174 each EnerSys Genesis XE13X 12V, 13AH UPS Batteries and 58 each EnerSys Genesis XE70X 12V, 68AH UPS Batteries at Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic (FRCMA) in support of USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Power System and in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), provided in Section C of the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) N6852025Q0024. Offeror’s submissions will be evaluated based upon the following: Technical: quote must be rated as technically acceptable to be eligible for award. In order to be deemed technically acceptable, the salient characteristics listed in the solicitation must be met. Price: Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer based upon salient characteristics from an Offeror with an acceptable Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) rating. Cost of Quotes: Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor’s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government.
