This is a combined RFI/Sources Sought/Notice of Intent issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 on behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD. This procurement is for annual preventative maintenance and calibration of mechanical and hardness testing machines as described in the Statement of Work, Attachment 1, at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) located in Jacksonville, FL. FRCSE is an industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls various aircraft, engines, and components. FRCSE does not have the capability to perform the maintenance and calibration of their mechanical and hardness testing machines and therefore requires inspection, adjustment, lubrication, calibration, and performance certification for these machines. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, interested parties may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist, Ryan Cram, ryan.m.cram.mil@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
