The Naval Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) intends to award a modification to N6883621P0152 to exercise option years 4 and 5 to provide all personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and any other items necessary to conduct Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommended yearly maintenance for the following equipment: - Oxford Aztec mics//x-stream2//Xmax80 system serial number SC36997 (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer (EDS) - Wave 700 Wavelength Dispersive Spectrometer (WDS) X-ray microanalysis system, S/N 62062660 The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Oxford Instruments America Inc. under the authority of FAR part 12 and FAR part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
