This Sources Sought RFI is hereby synopsized pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.2 and FAR Part 10 to ensure the pending solicitation enhances competition. This market research tool is being used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the competitive method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation.Any resultant solicitation(s) will be released on sam.gov. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor this website for additional information as the direct method of communication with the Government. A pre-solicitation notice will be issued pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.204. REQUIREMENT: Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers, Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD., is seeking potential vendors for Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) located in Havelock, NC., to perform the remanufacturing process of Low Plasticity Burnishing (LPB) to Rolls Royce F402 Engine Low Pressure Compressor (LPC) 1st Stage Vanes and LPC Stage 1/2 Disks. INCUMBENT INFORMATION: The pending acquisition is a follow-on effort to two efforts, N0024418D0012 and N0024418D0022, which were awarded by NAVSUP FLC SAN DIEGO to Surface Enhancement Technologies, LLC (CAGE 3AV35). The previously awarded contracts were awarded as sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Contracts. The ordering period for N0024418D0012 expired on 8 March 2023 and the ordering period for N0024418D0022 expires on 31 August 2023. CAPABILITY STATEMENT SUBMISSIONS: Responses to this notice should describe the Contractors capability and experience with performing LPB to the F402 LPC 1st stage vanes and 1/2 disks.
