The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) set aside Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) on other than a full and open competition basis to Capvidia NA LLC in Patuxant River, MD. This effort is for Capvidia NA LLC MDBvidia softcare licenses and maintenance required to create STEP AP242 and Quality Information Framework (QIF) Model-Based Definition (MBD) models that are semantic and machine readable for the Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Digitial Group Aviation Product Lifestyle Management (AvPLM) program. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirement. Capvidia NA LLC is the sole manufacturer and provider of MBDvidia which is the only product that can meet the requirements.
