Solicitation N68520-21-R-0017 is issued as a combined synopsis/sole source solicitation pursuant to FAR SubPart 12.603. The Government obtained approval to solicit, negotiate, and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with American Hofmann Corporation, under the authority of FAR SubPart 12.6 and FAR SubPart 13.5. June 26,2021: Description: The purpose of this sources sought is to seek a contractor who has qualifications, capabilities, and experience to upgrade and install PC Balancer instrument packages with new hardware and software on various two-plane horizontal and single plane vertical hard bearing dynamic balancing machines, located at Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, Cherry Point, NC. The model numbers are listed in the Statement of work. The contractor must be an authorized distributor to American Hofmann Corporation. ALL LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES THAT ARE INTERESTED and CAPABLE/AUTHORIZED SHOULD SEND IN A CAPABILITY STATEMENT. See attached Statement of Work for requirement. This requirement is expected to utilize existing utilities and will require no facility modifications. ELIGIBILITY: The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 4920 (Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Shop Specialized Equipment). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) with a Size Standard of 500 employees.
