F-35B STOVL Clutch Cooling System Cleaning Service and Equipment Capability
The U.S. Navy requires a contractor to provide all necessary equipment, parts, and services for onsite cleaning of contamination from the F-35B STOVL LiftFan clutch cooling system. The contractor must use a deployable Commercial Off-the-Shelf cleaning system modified to support initial engineering evaluations. The system must control water temperature, pressure, and quality, capture all effluent for environmental compliance, and safely interface with the aircraft’s clutch hardware. Services will be performed at various U.S. Marine Corps air stations. Responses to this RFI are due within 7 business days of the notice’s release.
