The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in Lakehurst, NJ intends to conduct a limited competition for four Main Engine Cylinder (MEC) Assemblies, Part Number 52-50866-1, NSN 1710-00-868-1912. The assemblies are designated a critical safety item, so competition is limited to companies listed on the technical data requirements (TDR). The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 6.103-1, as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government’s determination not to open the requirement to competition based on responses is solely within its discretion.
