NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to award a sole-source, fixed-price contract to D-2 Incorporated for hydraulic fluid particle counters and related assemblies supporting Foreign Military Sales programs and extended platform deployments. The requirement includes 38 Hydraulic Fluid Particle Counters (P/N 4348AS1000-1), 12 Phosphate Ester Particle Counter Assemblies (P/N 4348AS2000-1), and 4 NOAP Lab Particle Counters (P/N 4348AS3000-1). These particle counters support hydraulic contamination control by detecting, sizing, and classifying particulate contamination in aircraft and support-equipment hydraulic fluid. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with D-2 Incorporated under FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), because only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals, but responses will be considered and SAM registration is mandatory for consideration.
