The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Gould & Bass Company, Inc. in Pomona, CA for the procurement of specific Stationary Magnetic Particle Inspection units and quality control sets. The justification is that Gould & Bass is the original designer and only source with the requisite knowledge and technical data to produce these replacement systems without a developmental effort. This program aims to resolve obsolescence issues with a legacy system. The Government will consider responses received within fifteen days of the synopsis publication for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
