The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to make a sole-source award to Hydraulics International, Inc. for an estimated 15 to 64 hydraulic fluid bulk dispensing units for the MQ-4C Triton program. The work is in support of the U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Air Force. The justification for the sole-source action is that the OEM is the only manufacturer with the proprietary data rights, and using an alternate unit would cause unacceptable schedule delays and require extensive new testing and documentation. The performance location is Lakehurst. This is a notice of intent, not a solicitation, but the government will consider responses to determine if competition is possible.
