The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a sole-source Request for Quotation to Evident Scientific, Inc. for one Ultrasonic Flaw Detector for the V-22 Osprey program. The procurement is in support of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's MV-22B aircraft. The performance location is Lakehurst, New Jersey. The government does not own the data rights and a competitive drawing package is not available. While the procurement is currently sole-source, the government encourages other responsible sources to submit written proposals, which may influence a future decision to conduct a competitive procurement.
