The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Indra Air Traffic, Inc. for the procurement of Instrument Landing System (ILS) hardware, software, repair parts and services, training, and other navigation equipment to support systems to include, but not limited to, the AN/GRN-33(V). The Government intends to issue a five year Basic Ordering Agreement with Indra Air Traffic, Inc., the current Original Equipment Manufacturer of the AN/GRN-33(V) ILS. Indra Air Traffic, Inc. is the only firm possessing the technical data, manufacturing rights, and expertise to provide the required hardware and software components and spares. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses must be sent via email to the POC listed.
