(HII), a three-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for the following hydraulic power supply units in support of the United States Navy and Royal Australian Air Force MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Systems: Part Number (P/N) 040499-100, ELECTRIC HYD POWER SUPPLY A/M27T-14 P/N 040499-100 MIL-PRF-87257, POWER SUPPLY, HYDRAULIC P/N 4106AS0408-1, POWER SUPPLY, DIESEL HYDRAULIC This requirement is being processed under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. HII, the OEM, developed the subject support equipment at private expense and the Government does not own the associated technical data rights to allow for a competitive procurement. The development of alternative support equipment is not feasible due to unsupportable timeline and cost. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis. Active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration for award of any Department of Defense contract. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a contract.
