The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price purchase order, on a sole-source basis to Firstmark Aerospace Corp (Cage: 3BMV1) for the procurement of Calibration Set, Standby Compass (NSN 6605-01-576-9603, P/N 2591553-903) for the H-60R Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Spain and Norway programs. Firstmark Aerospace Corp owns the proprietary rights to the drawing, specifications, and data for this part. NAWCAD LKE intedends to procure these items under authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitaiton package is available for the procurement. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
