SYNOPSIS EXPEDITIONARY AIRFIELD (EAF) PRECISION APPROACH PATH INDICATOR (PAPI) SYSTEM PARTS & ACCESSORIES Solicitation #: N68335-24-R-0099 This synopsis is to inform industry that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation on a sole-source basis to Aeronautical and General Instruments, doing business as Trident Maritime Systems (CAGE: K0639) located at Fleets Point Poole, Dorset BH15 3SS, United Kingdom, for the production and delivery of the commercial Precision Approach Path Indicator system (Part Number 82301-0200-NAWC-M01), accessories and engineering support necessary to meet United States Marine Corps Expeditionary Airfield requirements. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C 3204 (a) (1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation, when issued, will be for a five (5) year, fixed price type Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors. The government will only accept electronic quotations.
