The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCAD LKE) intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of AERO 51E Weapons Trailer, Part Number: 3922AS100-1 for the P8A Poseidon Program in support of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed-Price type contract. This procurement will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. Interested Small Business vendors must be registered as "ACTIVE" in the System for Award Management (SAM) website in order to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ is requesting information pertaining to the procurement of AERO 51E Weapons Trailer, P/N: 3922AS100-1 for the P-8A Poseidon Program in support of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft. This Request for Information (RFI) notice is to solicit comments, questions and feedback from industry to meet the general requirements described above. The applicable PSC code is 1740 Airfield Specialized Trucks & Trailers and the NAICS code is 333924 Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, & Stacker Machinery Manufacturing. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond and should provide information that includes previous efforts and related data to Scott Bestreski, scott.a.bestreski.civ@us.navy.mil, no later than the response deadline specified below. All information should reference this RFI number on the subject response line of the emailed response as well as on all enclosed documents. Responses must include the company name, address, CAGE code, point of contact name and email/phone, and company business size. Respondents may provide Rough Orders of Magnitude on any currently available product or company capabilities that will meet the Navy's requirements.
