The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Waygate Technologies USA located in Onondaga, New York who is the original equipment manufacturer, designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Defect Measurement Video Borescope, National Stock Number 6650-01-583-8302. Waygate Technologies USA developed the subject support equipment and the Government does not own rights to this proprietary system. At this time, the Government is not pursuing the purchase of the data rights due to unsupportable timeline and cost. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304(C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
