The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Chugach Information Technology, Inc. (Chugach) for the procurement, installation, and testing of Collaborative Briefing Systems (CBS) housed within Carrier Ready Rooms. The Government intends to issue a five year Basic Ordering Agreement with Chugach, the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the CBSs required for integration on Nimitz and Ford class carriers. Chugach is the sole designer, developer, and distributor of the required CBSs. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses by phone or fax will not be accepted.
