The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm fixed price contract, on a sole-source basis to Aircraft Covers, Inc. (CAGE 1LE67) for the procurement of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Aeriel Refueling (AR) Water Intrusion Cover, P/N E2-001 THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
