The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey has a sole source requirement for hardware to National Instruments Tucson, AZ for the delivery of NI 778982-01, PXI-8430/2, 2 Port, RS232 PXI Serial Interface Module, quantity 75. It is anticipated that this requirement will be fulfilled by placing an order on an existing NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement, N68335-21-G-0024. The proposed action is for hardware for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." National Instruments is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the PXI-8430/2, 2 Port, RS232 PXI Serial Interface Module and, as such, owns the proprietary data that is required to perform the efforts under this requirement. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Responsible, interested parties, however, may identify their interest by submitting a capabilities statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
