The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source Contract to The National Institute for Avionic Research (NIAR) located at 1845 Fairmount St, Wichita, Kansas 67208, United States. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, is 333248. As implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation., CAGE code: 1DPE1, for the procurement of one (1) testing and certification package to establish the baseline qualification of the Ultem 9085 material in the Stratasys F900 printer for usage in Navy aircraft. The package will consist a Test plan for execution of the work performed and recommendations for certification acceptance criteria, copies of all review and approval documents surrounding testing, reports, and data, including raw data and engineering values from tested coupons; as well as a statistical analysis report, and recommendations. The contract structure will include the option to procure ten (10) additional testing and certification packages in Option Year 1 (OY1), and ten (10) additional testing and certification packages in Option Year 2 (OY2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within calendar fifteen days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
