The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Power-Dyne LLC, located in Middletown, Connecticut. The anticipated Firm Fixed Price contract is for the procurement of repair of repairables (RoR) and calibration to support the Wrench Torque Multiplier, P/N: PD6501, used for maintenance on the C-130 Aircraft in support of the KC-130J Program. The awarded contract will be a 5-Year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The Government intends to negotiate this procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
